Learning technology is an important part of all key learning areas. Lake Clarendon State School has a learning technology skills program that helps to encourage students to utilise technology to meet their learning needs in a changing world.
This program is firmly embedded into our curriculum expectations and provides students with a wide range of opportunities. These include;
Computer ratio: 1 computer per 3 children + 30 iPads
Hardware available: Computers, scanner, printers, data projectors, digital still cameras, digital video cameras, interactive whiteboard
Software available to use: word processing, data base management, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, email and internet browsers, powerpoint presentations, web creation, video editing, animation.
